Laser Standard & Radial - Men & Women European Championship 2012 - Hourtin FRA - Day 5

The final races continued yesterday in a fresher 16-18 kn breeze with two heats. The Laser Standard leader Ashley Brunning AUS had his worst day of the Championship yesterday with a premature start and a 10th place. This allowed Philipp Buhl GER to climb on rank 1 again. On third behind the leading duo is now Sergey Komissarov RUS, who finished 1 and 2 as best of the day yesterday.
Alicia Cebrian ESP is the new leader in the Lasers Radial women, followed by Tatiana Droszdowskaja BLR on rank 2, while the surprising Turkish woman Cagla Donerats TUR remains on the 3rd place. The big breeze specialist Annalise Murphy IRL won both races of the day and progressed on the 7th place. Adding two more race wins to his score sheet, Marcin Rudawski POL is on a safe way to another title in the Lasers Radial men. His lead on the second-ranked Martis Pajarksas LTU is alredy 29 points.
